Haha I’ll get a pic of the vertical 2x4 rear center brace next time I’m in there…. It was definitely installed in a rush, then forgotten after a shop move!! It’s basically a 1x3 with how mangled one end is…

Oh, to live life in such naivety! I over build and lose sleep at night that my stand dont have a level enough surface or that it might rock or....

I cant imagine how nice it must be to not have such a care!

i can imagine. I’m more worried about my 16 month tank re-establishing itself from where i’m leaving off.

Yea, mine was mostly a fowlr with a couple random invasive softies. And they struggled to stay alive in it, let alone invade. I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors with that one!

It’s pretty alarming, honestly… the 180g/stand are slowly drooping to the right, pressing 8x20g tanks on a rack to the right, pressing a 180g reef tank to the right (albeit less)!

I don't really have a next one, still working on getting my 38 gallon skylight tank on it's feet. After about two years I've finally got the system stabilized enough that algae growth is manageable and coralline is spreading like wildfire on the glass.

Assuming my new magnifica settles in over the next week, my next project is to get a trio of ocellaris clowns living in it. :)

Going trio? I've never tried anything other than my pair! Interested to see how it works out!

...think I'm almost there so wish me luck

Yes, I had a trio in the past and saw one at another reefers tank a couple of weeks ago. The way I am aiming to do it is with three sibling juveniles from a single batch of clowns. :)

I need to do this but upgrade my 4 foot tank to a 6 foot. If I had it to do over again I should have just showed up with a 6 foot tank and been done with it lol. Tangs make a 4’ tank feel real small fast. Good luck whatever way you go. I know what it’s like to have a spouse

What kinds of clowns? Got your eye on anything in particular? I really wish maroons were more peaceful as I love that deep dark red color!
