Hi everyone

I'm upgrading from a 100g to a 230g (84"x30"x21") and I want to start preparing for the new fish additions. I'll probably want to add more fairy and/or flasher wrasse and I'll definitely want to add more Carberryi Anthias. Should I be QTing them now so I can add them all into the new tank at the same time? I know that changing tanks and changing the rock work helps with aggression but I don't know how much it actually matters with these types of fish.

Current fish:
Ocellaris Clown Pair
Hippo Tang
Yellow Tang
Bellus Angel Female
Blue Sapphire Damsel
Longnose Hawkfish
3x Carberryi Anthias Female
Pintail Fairy Wrasse Male
Orange Back Fairy Wrasse Male
Katherine's Fairy Wrasse Female
Naoki (Naoko) Fairy Wrasse Male

You dont say when you will be upgrading ...but you want too be QT ing your new fish for about 30 days if not longer ...I'd start about a month before I upgraded...

Thanks for responding. The new tank will be here in roughly 30 days. Maybe the better question is whether it is important to add new fish to the new tank at the same time as the current fish. I think yes for wrasse but maybe anthias readily accept new members into their shoal at any time?

Then I would suggest adding the new fish first ..then adding your current fish later...
