I'd say try after a 2 or 3 days. If it doesn't accept the food wait another 2 or 3 and try again. They do pull some nutrition from the water column as well as their zooxanthellae using light so don't feel like it's going to starve to death right away. They can be finicky.

week would be my recommendation. Make sure if its going to randomly start inflating and deflating you don't have food as an extra variable

She seems stable now, it's been a week today. First few days she did some weird deflating but for the past few days seems like she's settled right in. Think it would be safe to give her a bite of shrimp?

I would personally go a week from the time she became absolutely stable.
