When to phosban react?

When would be the best time to add a phosban reactor; as the tank initially cycles or when a phosphate test reads/algae starts to bloom? Thanks in advance.

I would say as soon as possible if there's any phos in your Live rock it will help draw it out and also will help keep your low level when you start introducing your livestock
 
You could always liquid dose a Lanthanum product, only when its needed instead of GFO.
