There are a fish that sticks together sorta schools, it the Heniochus butterfly, you just need to keep in odd numbers. I have had three in my 180 for over a year they hang out a lot.

I can get behind a school of butterfly fish. That could be cool too. Especially with some of the interesting patterns they have.

I’ve seen people with multiple pyramid butterfly also and they have a nice personality. They are one of the reef safe butterflies too!

Possibly yellow or purple tangs could school but I’m not sure. You can try lookdowns as I know they often school.

What about the Myers? I bet I could hypnotize visitors is I had a school of those in a tank

Edit: Scratch that, I just read more about them. While I might be able to overcome the diet, they don't school.

Edit 2: holy cow the pyramids look nice in a school. Okay, I'm switching to that to the cool planned schooling fish I'll have one day. How big a tank do 10 need? What about 20?
