When Zoas die???

So I ordered Zoas from top shelf aquatics during their most recent sale. Unfortunately FedEx messed it up. The over night FedEx delivery took 4 days.
When the Zoas finally arrived I acclimated and dipped them as directed.
1. How do I tell if they are dying or dead?
2. If they are dying are they going to release toxins in my display tank I need to deal with and how do I deal with them?
They arrived at 71 deg. The attached pics are 24 hours after arrival.
Please advise.

Thankfully zoas are rather hardy and by the looks of them they seem decent. As long as your tank is stable with normal parameters I'd be optimistic is them being fine.

Generally they will melt/shrivel away but some look like they are starting to open.

Don't know much about the toxins but if you run carbon you should be fine. I've had some melt without ill effects

Shouldnt realese anything in your tank. They dont look bad anywyas just a little angry they prob open up, just stressed.

Ive had my angels eat lots of them over the years so wouldnt worry about toxins in the water :)

Happy Friday everyone,
Update on my late delivery Zoas. It has been 12 days now and most of the polyps look pretty good.
The Yellow Brick Roads and Green Bay Packers look pretty good.
The blueberrys kinda go back and forth, there are 3 polyps and I am pretty sure one of them is dead.
The Purple Hearts have never opened and all but 2 polyps have melted away.
The Galactic Bursts look a little rough but I believe they are going to make it.
With the Blueberrys when that bad polyp melts away will it impact the healthy ones? Do I need to do anything to separate them or just let it be?
What are your thoughts on the purple hearts? They are still clamped shut.
