Where can I find pocillopora like this?

[8934729379]

I'm looking for a place that would sell a frag of pocillopora that has this same color. I really like how it looks under the natural sun.. I don't run heavy blues on my tank.

@Battlecorals

Adam, you have any of this kicking around?

I Googled pink pocillopora and there are many frags for sale from multiple vendors. Take your pick from the ones you trust.

I saw that as well, but a lot of them don't seem to be the right species or color that I'm looking at. I believe this one is a pocillopora meandrina? And I can only find coral skeletons for sale of them :crying-face:

You want this size, color, or variety

Not size, but color and variety. I'm pretty bad when it comes to figuring out what an SPS frag will look like as a colony so just want to make sure I get the same thing haha

It may be something they no longer import. It’s not a very popular coral.

That’s a pocillopora meandrina.

The photo I linked is from Hawaii.. so no chance of it being imported. though online the range of pocillopora meandrina is listed throughout the pacific. In any case I would want it aquacultured.

Thanks for the confirmation. Do any of the other pocillopora species look similar?

Pocillopora verrucosa will be your closest option.

I got a pocillopora from @AquaSD d that looks kind of like that. Maybe take a look at their website.
