My lfs don't have sponge. Is there an online vendor? I've never fed my angels sponge in the past but wish to keep them thriving.

Angels do not need to feed on sponges to thrive and many sponges are not particularly easy to keep alive. If you want to give them some extra nutrition, I would suggest a product such as Angelixer by Brightwell Aquatics which is a soak for the food you already feed your angels and it has amino acids similar to or the same as those naturally found in sponges.

Would this work for my moorish idol as well?

I soak in garlic guard, selcon, and also cod liver oil and blackworms.

Well considering moorish idols do in fact feed on sponges at least to some extent in the wild, it probably would be a good supplement for them.

I ordered some. Although 36 dollars shipped is awful expensive
