Hello all!

I have been contemplating on adding a 3rd wave maker to supplement my flow (I have a lot of build on detritus) The thing is that I am struggling to find a spot to add this third wave makers so if anyone could help me out that would be great.

My current setup:

80 Gallon Innovative Marine SR80
2 Jebao SOW-4's https://fragbox.ca/product/httpfragbox-cacoral-fragsdryjebao-rw4-2/ (Running at about 50%)

Here is a pic of my tank as well with the 2 wavemakers:

Why not just increase the output of the two you have now?

I don't see an overflow, but sometimes people point one at the overflow to push dirt into the sump.

If I added a 3rd, I would probably put it lower in the tank, maybe across the back if that wouldn't bother any corals in the tank. Can't see from the photos what's in the path or what the flow pattern is now.

I think the bottom left would be a good spot but it depends on where your detritus is building up the most.

This is something I also could be doing I think the first two wave makers are pretty out of the way? Do you think I could be turning it up to 100% from the current 50%? I think the current flow is quite inadequate.

The bottom left is where the detritus is actually building up!? Would that be a good spot to keep the detritus from building up in the bottom left in that case?

You could also adjust the flow from the returns and/or add an extension to direct flow in detritus rich areas.
