Do to my work schedule, it just isnt feasible for me to properly quarantine fish. I really dont want to risk stocking the tank with fish that havent been properly quarantined. So are there any go to vendors that quarantine fish before selling so they are able to go straight to the display?

Check out ocean devotion la. I just ordered a melanarus wrasse from them for $65 plush shipping. That includes a 30 day qt. They have a form on their site where u can request a certain fish as well. The owner emailed me a detailed description of their process and I was impressed.

Also try divers den on Liveaquaria also sometimes a local fishkeeper will do it for you for a couple bucks a fish to keep their qt running.

+1 TSM Aquatics. I live 40 mins away and stopped by last week. I got to chat with one of the co-owners, Matt, for at least 20 min. They take their quarantine process very seriously.

Here's a pic of one row of ready-to-sell fish. I didn't see a single sick or dead fish in any of their tanks.

And here's a shot of the section of their warehouse dedicated for quarantining.

I will be ordering all my future fish from them.

The ones I know that do a full, medicated QT are:
  • Quarantined Fish LLC
  • Quarantined Marine
  • Humblefish Aquatics (I don't think he's currently accepting orders)
  • Marine Collectors
  • Humblefish recently added Bay Bridge Aquarium to his approved list but I haven't heard any feedback.
I've ordered from Humblefish and Quarantined Fish; both were great. Both were price competitive with the big online retailers.

So. Y’all don’t qt at all when you order fish from those sources? Man that’s a trust fall I’m not sure I can take. But I really want too.

I've done both. Humblefish wrote all the articles where I learned to QT, so I have no issues ordering from him. Quarantined Fish & Quarantined Marine have glowing reviews, took a while but after reading only positive reviews I went for it.

I reached out to humblefish before making the post. He is local enough to me that I could just drive over and pick up whatever I order. Havent heard anything back yet. Figured I would talk with multiple sources and then make a decision. I want a supplier I can trust.

+1 for Marine Collectors Elliot is awesome. I have already gotten 2 fish from him and contacted him last week about my next order which will be 5 fish. I fully trust him also he comes highly recommend from Randy at BRS

Yes. Highly recommend Adam at Ocean Devotion. He’s currently QTing 4 fish for me!
