I am getting back into reefing after 10 years off. Back in 2016, everything was forum based. I used nano-reef.com, and aquaria central quite a bit for knowledge. Seems like both of those are gone or dead now, Reef2Reef seems like the only active one.

There used to be a club local to me (Greater Iowa Reef Society), that still has a forum, but it appears close to dead as well.

Where did everyone go? Is Reef2Reef the best place for info, or are there other spots to look?

Welcome to your new home for saltwater reef aquarium resources and fun! Welcome to the family! :D

Welcome to Reef2Reef!
Hopefully you can find some locals here! I find in Australia that facebook groups tend to be used more (even had to get a facebook profile just for them!)

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

I feel like Reef2Reef is the right space :)
We have new members every single day, even though the current economical situation doesn't really help people to start very expensive hobbies.

You don’t need anything else !

I know there was a good group out of Sioux falls back in the day. But Facebook seems to be the only way I could find active places here in kansas after I moved here
