hi, my tunze 9012 skimmer will come this week. I’m using 80g FLuval tank (no sump), where I now have filter hoses on one side, powerhead&heater on another side. Can anyone advise where I should put my skimmer in tank? Thanks!

The nice think about Tunze is you can place it any where you like for aesthetics. It will function just fine as long as you don't block the pump or surface skimmer.
As long as their is no standing wave, you can place it wherever works for you. If you have a standing wave it should be centered on the back wall where the wave will be at its fulcrum point and won't affect water level as much.
