So my power was out for 2 days and 3 nights at the beginning of the week... my room temp dropped to 55 degrees, and of course the only thing i worried about the whole time was my tank!! fortunately we still had hot water, so I got them through it by taking water out of the tank in jugs, soaking the jugs in hot water to warm them, and then returning it to the tank... and I stirred/aerated the water by hand every couple hours. I am happy to say I didn't lose anything!! whew... when i have my own house I am definitly gonna get a generator!!

Good to hear....Glad you made it through the mess.....I hate power outages, I can't take the thought of losing stuff in my tank.

How low did the tank get to temp wise?
