Which Acro Is Your Canary?

Do you guys have an acro in your tank that you use to gauge everything else being okay? For me, I’ve noticed that if my Hawkins Echinata has polyp extension, my other ones will as well.

I have a plate coral that is telling me my tank is in trouble, while my blueridge coral is growing madly?

I also have a pavona cactus that was given to me for this purpose but it has also failed to remain reliable.

It's a great idea and useful to watch corals react to water parameters but they don't always tell the entire story, ime.
