Well, ordered 2 26's with the classic rail kit to go over the tank and the director. Cant wait to get them in!

The Hydra 26 is basically just 2 prime pucks in one fixture.

Well sort of. The Prime and Hydras don't even have the same color of LED's in them. The Hydras use Cree XT-E Royal Blues... which I despise. The Primes use Cree XP-E2 Blues in place of the Royal Blues... which I love!!! Gives the tank a cool, crisp look... like a Kessil. which is not possible with the Hydra 26/52. I have three 52's over my tank and I cannot get that same spectrum. I saw the Primes on display at MACNA yesterday and asked them what the settings were so I could rush home and duplicate it. They said "you can't"... "they use a different LED set". I knew something was different because I have been trying to get that look forever... now I know why. Also, AI unveiled their Hydra 26/52 HD's yesterday. They will be able to use the full wattage of the fixture, even if you are not using some LED's at all. So you can actually do like 150% whites as long as other LED's are low enough.

Here is the lights on my tank now!
