i am looking at battery back ups. ice cap, eco tech or even a ups style (meant for computers) yes, yes i know generator is best but i can't have it kick on automatically because i live in a condo, no real way to set it up. but i am getting one capable of running my fridge, fan and my tank.
but for when im not home or asleep i need something that could hold me over for around 7 hours or so while not able to get to the tank and also that i can recharge with my generator so when i leave again i can put it back to work. i haven't completed my tank setup yet and i haven't purchased my wave maker/ power head yet. i am planning on either the nero 5 or the reef breeders rp-m so they have to be compatible with whatever backup i get.

can that one work with a nero 5 or reef breeder rp-m
i don't know...I have all ecotech. Picked most of it up slightly used and saved $$$...I guess if the plug in pins don not fit you can get a adapter or rewire the end of the cord...
