This one

Or I’ve seen /used this in the past (in smaller amounts)

The J0553B is the one I usually see recommended on forums. I have not been able to get it though, 2 week shipping is a hassle for me.
agree -- that's what Ive used in the past --

just curious if the 38lb bucket that has color changing media would work -- its cheaper and 7x more (amount wise/lbs wise)

The risk is contamination from residue. I’d probably test it on a qt tank first before the main tank. Chemical residue from the media to the tank will be a nightmare to deal with.

@Randy Holmes-Farley any thoughts?

I am swayed to keep using what I have been and what everyone is suggesting (the 5lb one)

just have to say that 38lb bucket at 10-20 dollars cheaper is tempting -- but is this one of those you get what you pay for?

This is the one I use, instock prime shipping,

JorVet Soda Lime 5 Gallon

Best value I've found, I like that it changes from white to purple when exhausted. It works much better and cheaper than icecap media IMO

Ah perfect. Thanks! I no longer need the co2 scrubber right now but maybe during summer.
