Ok looking to try a controller,
all i want to do is
1)temp and control heater
2)salinity
3)ph
4)maybe some powerheads
5)DONT NEED FOR MY LEDS have a bluefish
which controller should i get?
any recommendations ?

I think all of them will do that basic monitoring. The thing of it is, once you have a controller, most people find they want to do more and more with it as they get familiar with it. For that reason, if budgets allow, I would recommend the apex because it appears, to me, to have the largest support base, officially and unofficially.
I bought mine just over 2 years ago, and wondered why anyone would need/want more than a couple of outlets and a pH probe. Just hooked up my second 8 outlet bar and looking to expand to another module and breakout box for additional 6 float switches, and additional 0-10v drivers (the standard unit comes with Qty (4) 0-10v). It will probably be helping monitor 3 tanks before the year is out.
