How about some pictures so that I can understand your feelings?

It really depends on how much you feed and how mature & biodiverse your system is.

In my frag tanks, I use mollies adjusted to full strength.

I use tiny blue legged hermit crabs.

Chemiclean is not that easy to get here in germany sadly as of my knowledge xd

This company is in The Netherlands.

Chemiclean contains erythromycin.

@Lasse
Can you help this reefer out with Cyanobacteria.

First step is to be sure that your nutrients levels are not to low. In a tank like yours I would not go lower than 0.1 in PO4 and around 3 in NO3. If you are lower than this - adjust up the nutrients. In some cases - it is not helping and I have lately using another method. I prepare a solution of fine CaCO3 powder (the ones that is used in breweries) and bacteria. Some use bottled bacteria but I use bacteria from my skimmer (e.g - I do a mix between around 50 ml skimmate and 1 tablespoon of CaCO3 powder/100 L and mix it with some aquarium water. Let it stand for an hour and after that por it into my aquarium. When I started with my aquarium - I did it very day in 5 days - no action for a week - new dosing for 2 days - 7 days without - 2 days of dosing and so on. You can find some ideas here

Sincerely Lasse
