Looking for an invert that's not a coral or anemone, preferably a crab or shrimp, that will fluoresce under blue light and will thrive in a 3 gallon pico. Any suggestions?

Do a search on the internet with the terms "invertabrate" and "fluorescing protein"
I have done that in the past but the only thing that comes up are research journals and articles about jellyfish lol

Maybe that's your answer. ;) I've been keeping reefs over 30 years and never heard of fluorescing crabs or shrimp in aquaria or other inverts like brittle stars or worms or snails. So you're probably going to have to dig through research to find animals you might be able to find to try out in your aquarium.
