Hi, as per title. It's a large 72"" x 60" tall by only 27" wide 1"1/4 thick acrylic reef tank. I know public aquariums use a dynabrade sander. But which model is submersible ( inside the tank without emptying it) and appropriate for this renovation? Thanks

I cannot offer any suggestions but have asked my friend @Sallstrom for any input. He runs a public aquarium in Sweden. Maybe he can help.

Sorry, I haven't use any yet. But we will get something like that for the new Aquarium, in about two years. I'll probably know more then :)
Good luck!

Thanks for replying @Sallstrom ! Ya gotta love a forum where a guy from the USA asks a guy from Sweden to help a guy from Canada!

According to a very brief Google search, pneumatic tools can be used underwater if the exhaust is vented above water. No idea what material they are made of, oil or grease that might be inside, etc. Maybe try the contact us form for that manufacturer?

My initial response was "a wet sander" :p
