I have a cheap Orlushy DC pump. It's been running solid for nearly 5 years. Every now and then when it starts back up the programming gets wonky and it sets itself to the slowest speed and I have to manually bump it back up. Not terrible, but not great either. It's happened once while on vacation and maybe 5 other times so just about once a year.

Looking to upgrade to the VariOs pumps

I am slowly moving my return pumps over to GHL (made by Sicce). I have had the Neptune COR 15 and 20's, and they worked well when I was using Apex for a controller. I am currently using the Red Sea ReefRun DC pumps and they are working well, but the software is the issue for me.

Thirded! I’ve owned just about every PW/Blueline model. Many over 10 years in service.

Panworld is the same as Blueline, just under a different name for distribution purposes. And you're right, bulletproof.

Yep, Panworld 250ps in basement sump room since 2008. Just keeps on running like new.

Hi. Ecotech M2 which I bought due to battery backup and a quality brand.

Battery fails after 2/3 years and the pump cant seem to keep a consistent flow rate which seems to be a problem for many!

Might go for the Red Sea pump next. Sicce pump with the Red Sea app plus the 5 year guarantee.

Panworld for 16 years straight. Bulletproof.

Is it stainless or plastic internal parts? They sound like a decent pump.

When I switched from AC to DC for quietness, I bought a Maxspect Jump. It's had zero issues and I have no regrets.

I’ve had a Jebao DCP-10000 pump on my 125g tank for almost 5 years now. It has run flawlessly the entire time.
Ironically I bought a Neptune COR pump to replace it, but realized as well as the Jebao runs I don’t need to replace it. So now I keep a COR as a backup to my Jebao.

Sicce and jebao here. I started with the sicce sdc 6 dc pump but found that it was way too loud even after sicce sent a new impeller then a brand new pump. They both sit on a shelf as backups. I switched to jebao 2 years ago and it has been super silent and reliable. I did not get the wifi version. The controller and it being plugged into my apex are plent for my needs.

Other for me because I ran Iwaki pumps for years, and the main pump I bought used.
I sold it & it ran for more years. Now I found Blue Line Pumps, DC with a 5 year warranty, silent & running for 1.5 years with -0- problems so far.

I'm not sure. The body is metal. I think the impeller is plastic. They are heavy in weight. I joke, that, if you hold a Blueline pump at your waistline and drop it on your bare foot you will break every bone in your foot. But, if you hold a Sicce pump at your waistline and drop it on your bare foot you will break the pump!
