Red emperor gets large but a beauty . Blue lines grows fast but will eat smaller fish

I think blue lines are good looking large fish that could reasonably be kept in large tanks. The red are pretty as juveniles, but lose the unique look and get WAY too big...like 3 feet. So not really reasonable in any home aquarium. They probably taste good though.

Blue line, they look good as adults unlike the reds and stay a fraction of the size of a red.
