So I was looking through my tank, and I have one small baby hippo tang, I said I need something more.
Btw 75 gallon

Which should I get, Naso tang? Clown tang? Wanna stay away from the normal yellow tang and purple tang. Anyone got good suggestion?

BTW: anyone have a good tank company to buy custom tanks?

Wouldn't reccomend a clown tang, they are very aggressive and require a large tank. Naso tangs get huge so I two tangs in a small tank I dont know it is your call but tang police might get you on that one. A cool small tang is the half black mimic tang. Those stay small and are pretty cool looking.

I would not get another tang until I had a 125 gallon or larger established...not just planned.

If I had to get a second one now I would go with a yellow eye kole, tomini, mimic or similar species that are less territorial and do not get so large.
The tangs you listed grow fast and in the case of the Clown have a reputation for being extremely territorial when they mature.

kole would prolly be my suggestion or tomini

clowns require a much larger tank and naso get so big...my naso is 7 inches in my 220 and before long he will be too big...

yellow would be a good fit for a 75 as your options are really limited in a 75

Thanks for all the help guys! I think since owning both yellow and purple tangs before, I'm gonna try a kole eye.

I recommend the Kole too, but I agree that a larger tank would be a better fit for multiple tangs.

good luck with the Kole! They are beautiful fish. Mine was always very skiddish due to a yellow tang I had.

I agree on the Kole suggestion. In a tank that size, one of the bristletooth tangs would probably be the best fit.
