Hi,

I’m looking at purchasing a larger tank as an upgrade from my Fluval Evo. My LFS has a clearance offer on the Waterbox Marine 60.2 at £525. The Marine X would be £750 - am I missing much going for the older model?

Thanks in advance!

I doubt you are missing much.

The sump layout is different. The Marine x 60.2 has a more conventional overflow with the filter sock on the sump. The overflow is also only in the center.

The old version 60.2 is almost more like an AIO with a false wall along the entire back of the tank and the filter socks are behind that false wall and not in the sump.
