Whis reefmat should I choose

Setting up my first saltwater aquarium and would like to know if I should go with the reefmat 500 or reefmat 1200. I have a redsea reefer xxl 625. Total volume of water is 164 gal.

Checking out the specs, Ild go for the 500, it would just use more filter paper but also depends on the load of your tank
The 1200 is rated up to 300 gal and is almost double what you require.

They are sized based on flow rate. What are your return pumps flowing?

Finally, the 1200 is BIG so the dimensions could help narrow things down.

You are right on the edge between sizes though.
