Been using reef bacteria in order to lower down nitrates, phosphates and algae presence….. had a huge algal bloom the last couple weeks.
since the addition of bacteria my reef has been showing different hitchhikers blooming ( fan worms, bristle worms, pods, etc), but since yesterday I started spotting the presence of this little white dots slowly moving on my front glass. since I’ve added a wonderful soft coral I’m worried about them being baby asteria starfish.

Really hard to see any kind of detail.
agreed.

try to focus more on the dots. they could be a list of things... copepods, baby snails, collonista snails, etc. unless we can get a clearer view, we cannot help further.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
