Hi,

I have a Euphyllia with white growth on it. It seems to grow some sort of extensions.

I was hoping one could identify this.

I am searching in the sponges part of the internet but maybe I am missing something here.

Thanks.

It looks like a sponge, how is this coral doing now?

It's sponge.
There are vast numbers of different sponge types, growth patterns...Identifying can be difficult.
It can be easily removed with a soft tooth brush if the Euphyllia is not expanding fully.
