anyone ever own 1 what they like decided i want fish but can't shake the need for a eel so decided to go with the white ribbon

I believe @littlefoxx had one for a time! They are moray, but can be finnicky with food when first added, although they are hardier than the other ribbons, they're still not as hardy as other morays.

I did have one! They are hardy and will eat literally anything including pellets. Very narrow little guys so you need a very secure lid. I lost my ribbon when my cucumber nuked my tank and I couldnt find him to get him out in time cause he was so fast and narrow. Been looking for another one for sure!

If youre worried about other fish being eaten neither one is better than the other. All eels can eat fish. As I think I explained its really about your specific eel and how well you feed. Mine dont eat my fish because Ive trained them that I will feed them when they are hungry therefore they do not need to hunt their own food. So pick whichever eel you like best honestly and build your tank around your eel and their behaviors thats what Ive done and it works really well for me

Lol I mean like not getting gobies and blennies that would be eaten easy. Like fast fish and bigger (like a dwarf angel, cardnial ect kind of fish)

How can you tell when the eels are hungry? I’m still trying to figure mine out.

One or the other, anglers are stupid in the respect they will try to eat anything and everything and would result in both fish dying. Anglers really need to be the only fish due to the fact they will eat (and try to eat) fish like 5x their size

I had feed be careful though Nebby (my zebra) has bitten me on accident and boy did that hurt!!
