Something is causing my rockwork to turn white. The only thing I can think of is I just dosed the tank yesterday with Prazipro for some issues with one of my fish.
What if not the medicine would cause this?

Did that used to be coralline algae? It turns white when it dies off.

It could be other algae’s that originally grew on the rocks are dying off in places. It looks like there are more area on other rocks doing the same. I would consider that a win. Soon enough they will be covered again.

I have never heard of prazipro having that effect on live rock, so I think the timing is just a coincidence.

Whatever, I don’t think I would be concerned about it if everything else is doing well.

I have some area that look white too.
