I've only seen this white like worm very early in the AM or late at night when running the moon lighting on my AI Prime, problem is it's nearly impossible to get a picture because he darts all over the tank, at first I thought it was just debris being moved around by the return and wavemaker, but it seems to rapidly change directions. Just a lil nervous, added to beautiful clowns yesterday and a blood shrimp.

Going be hard without a picture as probably 100's if not thousands white worms.
But look up spiniod worms and these have 2 tentacles.
But a description of how it moves ,its size and any more info like this be useful.
Sorry can't be more help

Thanks for the reply, I can only imagine how hard it's going to be IDing this lil guy. He's tiny, about the size of a single grain of white rice, he often darts around the tank in a very sporadic manor. Lights on, he's gone.

IDK, being new to salt I'm learning as I go. TY.
Little guide to the common hitch hikers we see in our tanks with ampripods, spaghetti worms, possibly spiniod worms as I think they quite common.hope it helps and good luck getting an id.
Just be ready with your phone to record a video or even a picture will help others to Id it for you.

The Detritus worm is another critter I found (at least I think it is) comes out when I feed. I had to clean one of my live rocks this morning, that lil worm like critter was squirming around on the rock, before I could get him in a cup he went down the drain. lol
Is this a Detritus?

Thanks, good or bad?
find the tube theyre coming from and remove at the base. If you cant reach it, you can place a dab of gel superglue over the hole and it will starve
