I’ve noticed some thing in my tank. I really just noticed it now when I moved a large pulsing Xenia from this area to a new area to make room. After looking over the entire tank though I noticed is spread throughout the tank on the rockwork. Looks like spider web kinda. What is it? Is it just mucus from the pulsing Xenia?

I can’t tell from the pics, but it could potentially be bacterial films, algae, or mucus nets such as those from vermetid snails (I think I can see a vermetid snail at the bottom center of the first pic, but I doubt they’d be causing all of it).

Looks like a vermited snail web, they're a common aquarium pest and can irritate LPS and SPS coral with their mucus webs, so if you have any LPS/SPS then I'd try and remove the vermiteds
