Need help. Have had issues with this thick clearish algae looking stuff and have never been able to fully get rid of it. Usually it just gets a little in the rock crevices and stuff but this morning I woke up and it looks like it completely took over in 1 night. Haven’t been able to find any pictures online that look exactly like it so was wondering if anyone else had anything they knew about it.

Hello, how old is your tank? Have you dosed any aminos, supplements, or the like recently? I am thinking bacterial bloom.

Ok, any chemicals that could have got in tank or air fresheners in area (spray type)? Seems like you’re stable as far as longevity. If it is bacteria, all you can do is blow it off and suck it out, change filter frequently as slime may build up (a few times a day). It will burn itself out in a few days.
