Don't get discouraged if they don't bounce back immediately. It took my acros a couple months to get settled in after getting introduced to my tank.

Your corals will not be healthier or happier at 0.06 po4 vs 0.10-0.15. Believing they will is going to cause future struggles.

Good luck

Just a quick update. The pc rainbow didn't have enough energy to recover, my rainbow loom which I got at the same time is in the same boat.

The newer frags I got like my vinh, pink caddy and marvin martian have either tiny hits of brown stringy algae on the tips, slightly browned im color and have partial tip loss respectively. My monti digi on the other hand is happy since adding floss, and gac to a media filter cup. And bonsai is already encrusting.

I bought a new skimmer this weekend and will be installing it tomorrow. This addition should make my tank the same setup to my old one, and I expect things to go well. I'll add some nice pics when things pick up.
That skimmer I mentioned earlier I was using was underrated from my old tank, but oddly never got skimmate yet from it either.. like almost nothing.

Anyways I was just wondering if you run floss at all, use GAC at all or occasionally? And if you ever considered using or tried ozone.

I use nylon mesh filter socks, an undersized skimmer and grow chaeto in the middle chamber of my sump

Unless you are feeding fish 4-8 times per day, I tend toward keeping higher residual nutrient levels. A mature tank with the basic nutrient removal tools (socks, skimmer, live rock/media, maybe refugium) can process a ton of fish waste.

How old is this system? How old is the majority of the rock?

I would cut away all dead skeleton with algae on it.

As to GAC, I always keep a reactor loaded but only schedule it to run when there is a purpose in doing so. Post WC, post medication, yellow water, smell, guests coming over, a stir of the sand bed, any potential introduction of contaminants.
