I noticed this before and thought it was glue but now I noticed it is growing, branching out.
Can anyone tell me what it is? Good, bad?

Sponge. Generally harmless filter-feeders but they do rarely smother corals. I would keep it, but they can be eliminated by injecting them with air.

Its a type of poriferan sponge (likely cryptic) which favors dark, low flow areas. While it does not spread crazy like some, it will continue to grow. It should peel off the rock otherwise inject via syringe with air or vinegar to halt its growth

Interesting because there is a ton of flow in that area.
Thanks for the info on this.
