Hi Folks,
I have a 6 month old Apex system and I believe the ph probe has never worked correctly, but not positive. I just purchased another digital ph probe for comparison purposes and they are way off.
The Apex probe says 7.97 and the digital probe says 8.45.
I re-calibrated the Apex probe with calibration solution that came with the digital probe. I used the 7 fluid as the low and the 10 fluid as the high. I placed both fluids in a ziplock bag and floated in the sump first to match temps. I did the manual calibration and let each sit for about 3 minutes to settle.
What am I doing wrong? OR is the Apex correct and the digital is wrong? Who do I trust?
