who else has to work xmas??

well....i dont have to work xmas day, but i have to work today and xmas eve from 7am-7pm.

...which is complete bull...b/c the managers just announced this yesterday that we would work xmas eve, and report back at 12:01am on the 26th....and right after they announced that they said they were taking vacation until january 2nd.

...i wonder what they'll do if no one shows up, but they wont be around to know it...haha

anyone else having a problem with the man keeping them down this holiday season? lol

I have to work tonight at 10pm till 6:30am.....I get Sunday night off and have to be back to work on the 25th at 10pm.......Aucks but ooh well been like that for years....I hope toget the New years eve off and start vacation.....

i got suckered into thinking a salary job has its perks....yet i see more downsides too it than good. seems like i work an awful lot for *free*. lol

i have the possiblity of working any hour of any day with little to no notice. i do have to work tom, and thursday was like the fourth year in a row i worked nearly the whoel day of my birthday

well, with your situation that makes sense. at least all you have to do is walk down stairs to go to work though. ;)



i'm starting not to feel so well right now, i may have to call in sick tomorrow and the day after xmas so i can get out of town. lol ;)

I work for myself but the guys that work for me last day was Thursday and they start back Wed. They get paid for Christmas day and I gave them a bonus to cover the other days.
That way I can enjoy my time off and not have a telephone strapped to me to make sure eveything is going ok.LOL

Full time as a Sheriff's Deputy, and part time cop. As a part time cop we only work when full timers take off...which peaks around holidays of course! The funny thing is...it's not even about the money...just the experience...allthough this year I have been seriously contemplating why I am torturing myself!

Yea I get 8hrs holiday pay that gets added to my check....When I go in on Monday night at 10 I will get 2 hrs of time and a half for those 2 hrs cause it work on the holiday......The only good thing about this week is the overtime has been cut finally...Been working anywhere from 48-60hrs(6 days a week) since the last week of Aug. Not sure what I am going to do with a second day off. Been used to getting all my stuff done on my only day off.....

that would be sad on a day when people are mostly at home spending time with family (i.e. pets included) they are too lazy to get off their rump to walk their own pet. lol

Well i opened my grandma's tonight.

And i opened at my dads house in florida on the 23rd and i got my b-day presents...

Tommorrow morning is exchange in my house

Then tommorrow night is my other grandma and aunts and uncles

And then wednesday is my b-day party but the wierd thing is that my b-day is the day after it... :D

Wow, i think my tank is going to be fully stocked by the end of this Christmas........plus i got a load of usefull craftsman tools that i can use when putting my tanks apart and together....

I guess i will order everything for the 20g prop in a weeks time....
