I have this light as well, and while I may be new to the hobby, my corals seem to be doing pretty well with it. I don't have anything crazy, but I am very happy with the light. I just wish it was a little bit taller so it wouldn't get splashed and collect quite so much salt. The programmable times and preset schedules made it very easy for me to get this set up and running exactly how I wanted it.

I put the 48 to 60 inch on my 90 after my pc crapped out. Not real bright but my soft corals, mushrooms, zoos and one LPS are responding to the light

I started with this light on my 54g reef tank. It handled my zoas well and my pink Birdnest did ok but not great. I got a Kessil A150 Deep Ocean Blue to run side by side with the light. My tank loved it and I ended getting another A150 for the other side. With the two Kessils and the bar Orbit light I was getting plenty of shadows so I played around but couldn't find a configuration I like. I finally upgraded the Orbit to a Kessil A360we and put the Orbit on my 36g tank. Now this light is good and has some sweet options but even their own manual state it's not rated for SPSs. You might have good combo of running this with some T5s. Now if your doing softies and/or LPS you be fine with this light. If you want to do SPS you might struggle unless you run additional lighting.

I have this light. Tried to switch to 2 ai primes over my 36" nuvo 24.
Pros:
-Great coverage for a narrow and long tanks. (much better than pendent lighting or individual "pucks" like the AI primes)
-Really nice built in programing. There are tons of feature on this light!
-Dead silent. This was a HUGE issue with the AI primes for me

Cons:
- Not bright enough to support most sps corals

Great for a simple, budget reef

only new hobbyst that dont know much about keeping corals buy those kinds of light.

Those who don't use spellcheck should be careful about throwing stones. I have this LED fixture and I like it a lot. I just do LPS for the record. After 10 years I consider myself an avid HOBBYIST

I just spoke with a Current rep the other day about this light. I'm pleasantly impressed. They use SMD LED Cree and Epistar diodes.
I highly recommend you naysayers do a little research on the Par/Pur output of the lights. Current-USA has come a long way with their LED units.

Research carefully. There is a difference between the Orbit Marine and the Orbit Marine Pro when it comes to types of corals your wanting to keep.
The Pro does keep SPS very nicely from what I'm seeing [emoji2]
