Seriotopora not stylophora. And the op meant styloceneilla anyhow. Styloceneilla is non branching for those confused.

But I love stylophora and seriotopora also.

I keep it just off the sand bed @ 250 PAR. Not a fast grower but does put on a show. It also has some good sized sweepers so keep that in mind.

Mine are @ 1~1.5". It tagged a chalice I had near it, not bad but you could tell it went to war. I'll see if I can't get a pic of at night.

I've never seen sweepers on any stylo. I also figured they would probly lose in coral warfare. All mine are on their own rock. Still pretty small.

I have burnin bananas, wwc metallic orange, sunset, wwc spiderman, and looney tunes.

No great pics of any of them. I need to take out my canon but I almost feel like I can take a better pic with my galaxy 6. Which i just got wet a few days ago.

got a few sub par "feeler" shots. They are out in the a.m. whenlights first come on. They run about 3/4" top right corner. Almost impossible to show up on cellphone camera

I actually got a couple pics, inspired because... I found a sweeper!

Sweeper is on the burnin banana, to the right in the pic.

And this stylo i found mislabeled as a monti. Now one of my favorite. Blue base, yellow green polyps. Can't get the blue to show in pics idk why i can never get blues to show in pics.

Looney tunes slowly getting bigger is very difficult to get a photo that I'm satisfied showing lol but I'm working on it.

I also got a really nice pink polyp but it seems to grow even slower than the rest. And I have a sweet one I'm nursing back to health. I nearly killed it after it fell from my frag rack and was almost dead by the time i found it. Amazing spiderman. Red w blue polyps, very bright...

Though I had a pic of the pink polyp but I'm not finding it.

Oh the confusion...

Seems these confusing "Stylo" threads only popped up after a few people started putting names on these random styloceneilla. Since when did the nick name Stylo ever mean anything other than a branching stylophora? Come on guys no one wants these tiny encrusting frags of boring sps :p
I say we need a better nick name for styloceneilla so we can make these threads less confusing. I don't care for any Stylo but a branching thick colorful stylophora but that's just me. I knew someone would name an encrusting sps that no one payed attention to and make it popular again. I have been waiting for these corals to come back for a while now.
