@nautical_nathaniel thanks for a good article. Continuing your chopstick theme, check out cooking chopsticks. (They are like normal ones but longer and thicker.) So you can poke further or pick things up with two of them.

So start practising with chopsticks on your chinese meals and start developing those reefing skills!;)

Great post. Fiberglass rod, wine stirring spoon and a direct from China pickup tool that doesn't come close to working like the real Mccoy - but still is very useful

I keep a (rusty) coat hanger handy for my 30" tall tank. I can bend it at angles anywhere needed and can put a hook at the base to pick things off the bottom.
