Everywhere I look, they always label achilles tangs as experts only. Why are they expert only fish?

Need large tank, somewhat aggressive, susceptible to ich, sometimes difficult to get eating

There are a few reasons as far as I am aware. First, Acanthurus are highly susceptible to ich, so they need to be quarantined properly. Second, they come from surge zones, so you need incredibly high water movement to keep the water oxygenated enough for them. Third, they get large, so generally tanks large enough to house an adult isn't owned by beginner aquarists.
