I can’t believe these guys they’re almost microscopic! I have had this for 8 months now and it’s grown 2 heads but they have not gotten any bigger. The utters in front look like giant palys by comparison. I bet you can’t even see them on the full tank shot. Is it just me or that’s the way they are?

That's how mine are! Just one of the smaller gene polyps like Pikachu.

Wow great picture! I can’t pick up the detail in mine. Being so small I should of put them right in the glass! Seriously they are so colorful! Definitely my favorite the green to orange and black to red! Love em

I will only keep larger zoas now and won't buy them unless I can see a pic of them relative to the frag plug size. Tired of zoas the size of eraser heads.

Yours look super healthy with nice skirts. I wouldn't mess with anything.

Short answer, from what I’ve seen over the last couple of years since they became available, there’s larger and smaller polyp strains. Could the polyp size be tied to lighting? Natural and good question. Perhaps. I’ve tried the strain a few times and talked with friends about it. I’ve had micro sized polyps and ‘paly’ sized ones from different growers both using T5’s. I’m not married to this conclusion but I think it has legs.

Mine are the same way, it’s been 8 months and still tiny. My first batch were bigger but melted after 3 months, it seems the smaller variant last longer in my tank.
Btw, what’s the difference between the Rainbow Eclipse and the LSOH? I still can’t tell between the two since I now have both.

Utter Chaos are kind of the other end of the size spectrum, but I get what you're saying. :D

My Ktar Black Hornets are less than half the size of the LSOH, though.
