I have a Reefer 350 and have tried multiple times to start a refug. I have the nutrient to support it. I’m using a Tunze submersible light. I know it’s not the best light but have read reviews of people with success. Could it be my light? I run light for 6 hours at night. Chaeto does ok in the beginning then starts to die off and turn color. Looks like it wilts away....Thanks

My chaeto took off when I added a pump underneath it to help circulate the water a little more.

Have you tried dosing trace elements? I had the issue with chaeto till I started chaetogro
I had the same experience but chaetogro worked well. Iron on its own didn’t seem to do it. I now have the big container of it on a doser for a couple ml/day. Not sure what was missing, but the change was dramatic and clear from dying to growth. My last harvest.
