Why can't I get acrylic very clear???

should I use separate pads for the novus 2 and the novus 3?

I would personally use different pads. The grit from novus 3 can still be on the pad, and won't allow the Novus 2 to get all of the Novus 3 scratches out.

I used the same pad when going between the steps. Didn't seem to make any difference.

Holy hell, there is no better feeling then feeling like you got your money's worth on something got the novus 3 step today and my tank looks brand freaking new. What a great product. Thanks guys.
