I suspect that O2 is not much of a factor, coral spend much of their time riding themselves of O2 rather than the opposite. At night the respiration rate is pretty slow so the O2 need is low. Also, so many people in the same area have awesome tanks :)

I can't help with the OP's question. But I wonder just how many 'awesome tanks' there are at an elevation of 9000 feet? I'm guessing there can't be that many. Heck, how many people live at 9000 feet or higher?

Just a curious question, not meant as a criticizem. ;)
