I have had a Torch coral with about 8 heads on it for about 6 months now. When I first got it the arms were shorter and stubby like most torches. For a months now my torch extends so far it doesn’t look as good as before. I have other torches in the tank that do just fine. Why does my mother colony extend so far. I have added pictures of both the mother and the single head that I fragged off that does great on it’s own. I’m open to Any ideas or suggestions thanks!

Realizing now I posted in a clown fish and anemone category...oops...anyways you can see the single head torch doesn’t extend that far and also my blue and green torch in the background of the one picture. I can’t figure out why the colony heads will extend so far and so stringy like

This is completely normal of a healthy torch.
Torch's are a bit more aggressive compared to other euphyllia like hammer or frog, they often put out longer sweepers, sometimes even at night and can be really long.
They require a little more buffer area than other euphyllia
