Why is my clownfish glowing blue??

I've had these two for a year and I've JUST noticed the male is glowing blue!! What the heck??

Very cool if its not just lighting. Reef builders has an article about this. Not positive if thats what is happening here but still a cool read anyways.

Lights were off for the night and the bedroom has a 4 bulb T5 setup on the ceiling. But it's crazy that I'm only now seeing this now!

Oh, very nice! Looks like he's picked up a bit of a really gorgeous blue shade. That's really lucky.

I like the lil black molly in there next to the fancy fancy designer clowns.

Lol thanks. I can't have a Tang in the biocube so I opted for some mollies. All but this one died after a few months. No idea why though.

My guess would be that some disease or another got them. Freshwater fish lack any resistance to saltwater diseases, so a disease that's dormant in fish can easily kick up in a freshwater fish introduced to the tank.

Ocellaris clowns sometimes get hues of blue in their striping, entirely normal and looks cool
