I have a 220g tank where I dose 2g of kalkwasser per day and ~115 mL of BRS Balling Hybrid method part one and two. This is a mix of soda ash with Tropical Marin A- trace elements at 575 mL per 5g for part one and calcium chloride with Tropical Marin K+ trace elements at the same ratio. Then I dose around 200 mL of Tropic Marin Part C daily.
The question is why is my iodine always elevated? I don’t use much carbon or GFO. My levels are around 550 ug/l. I’m sure it’s one of those tropic Marin parts but which and how do I correct this without stopping my dosing which has almost everything else perfect in an acro dense tank.
