Why is my nitrate spiking?

Relax! 25 is high but it isn't too high. Odds are you are either over feeding or had some sort of die off in your system. 25ppm nitrate won't hurt anything. It might open the door to some algae growth but it won't hurt any fish or coral.

Thanks, that's good to hear. I have been feeding a lot lately, guess I'll cut it back.
