Why is my purple tang not sleeping in a cave

Hi all,
My purple tang which I added yesterday after qt is not sleeping in a cave. I added him with a blue tang and the blue tang is in a cave but he is not... is this normal?

Hippo tangs tend to sleep inside of caves/crevices. I don't see other tangs doing that. If some do, I've never shown a flashlight at them.

My purple generally sleeps in a cave. If you just added him yesterday I wouldn't read too much into it. Give him time to acclimate to his surroundings.
